About Team SynapsE

Team SynapsE is the Committee for IT and Knowledge Management at IIM Lucknow. Formed in 2001, the student committee is today deeply intertwined in the day-to-day lives of students, faculty and administration. It has developed numerous systems and applications that have improved student life and bettered the student-faculty interaction at IIML.

Driven by the motto of “Making Life Easier at IIML” the committee has led a large number of initiatives in the past years. The tremendous popularity of SynapsE and the impact of its work, has led to the committee being voted the Best Student Committee of IIM Lucknow in 2008.

SynapsE’s portfolio includes:

Claroline, the Online Classroom tool of IIML which offers features such as online course creation and management, sharing of course material and documents by the Course tutor, coordination of group assignments, submissions and collaborations

Aghanim, the software providing vital support to students and recruiters during the placement process. The software facilitates online applications and CV submissions during placement process, access for Recruiters to download CVs of applicants, company information and deadlines etc.
Manfest Online, which includes three of Manfest's flagship online events - Corporate Lord's (the strategy simulation game), Finicky (the currency trading game) and QuiZest (the series of theme based online quizzes). The hugely popular online treasure hunt "Wild Goose Chase" was also a brainchild of SynapsE.
